Whytecliff Park

One of the locations you must see while visiting in Vancouver is Whytecliff Park (http://www.vancouvertrails.com/trails/whytecliff-park/). It is located in West Vancouver one of the most expensive residential areas in the world.

We only went to the beach on the outskirts of the park. The rock in the middle of the bay is only accessible at low tide (see picture). We were lucky and could climb the rock. The pebble beach is by nice weather popular place. We only saw few divers.

My personal story is about the seaweed I found on the beach. It looks and feels like a plastic garbage. Amount of CO2 gas contained in the bulb on top of the plant is sufficient to kill a frog. I was about to take the piece back home, but I am not sure whether EU shares my excitement and will allow me to bring strange plant to Czech Republic. You have to admit, it looks just amazing.

... and it is huge

Enjoy every beach! ... and stay tuned-in!
